Week one on the Newleywed front.

WOW. What a hard week to start Grandpa's losers. So, being a newlywed wife, I'm trying to make dinners, and desserts, and all that jazz. We took our starting weight last Thursday, I was at 117.1 Lbs, and Rob was at 203.9 Lbs. After getting our Easter baskets (which is not an easy thing to do the first week of a diet. Lets just say, I put a lot of Candy in Rob's basket because I didn't know what else to put. I did put a journal in it, to kind of redeem myself.) Anyway, he found his basket early, and got it on Saturday. So that is when the candy started. Then on Sunday morning, we made breakfast for our good friends, and we ate it all. It was so good, and I didn't want to stop eating it. Then on Monday I made German Pancakes because Rob was off work, then that night, I made Mom's Chicken Parmesan, and it turned out very well. I made a whole pan of it, hoping we could have left overs for lunch. well..... After Tony and Loni and us.... There wasn't any left. However, I made brownies from scratch, and they didn't turn out! that was a sad day, but it was good because of grandpa's losers. Anyway, after Monday, we had fajitas, and a pot roast. As far as exercise, I have not done any, we did go on a short walk to Wal-Mart to return a red box. We decided to go on a walk every night, but then the weather turned against us. So we didn't go again. Rob is more dedicated than I am. He lifts weights almost, if not every night, and I catch him doing sit-ups and what not while I take a brake from reading (I would rather read, which is terrible!) Now, its a week later. What was our final weight after this week? Well, I am now at 114.9 Lbs -(down 2.2 lbs) , and Rob is at 200.3 Lbs-(down 3.6 lbs) YAY! I don't know how we did it, but I'm just glad we didn't gain, or maintain. I know we can do better at eating, and exercising, but this week was hard with Easter, and being newlyweds. I want to be the cute wife who has dinner made when Rob gets home from work, and I don't want to just make a salad or something. But this week, I want to do better, I hope the weather is nice, I enjoyed our walk, it was exercise, and it was a good way to relax at night and just talk. I want to start to go running, but I think we will have to wait until I wont pass out, because I'm out of shape. Either way, we are trying, and just wait everyone, we will take this when we really start trying! Good luck everyone! and remember to have fun doing it!
